Oh boy, I realized how long it's been I posted anything on this journal. Through wheedling and guilt and puppy dog eyes, [livejournal.com profile] brate7 convinced me to start posting fic at AO3.

And I have. Not much, just old stuff but, er, yea, I forgot about LJ. Apologies to those who had friended me. Sorry for the boring journal!

So, coming back to post an Avengers fic (yes, you read right). First one, others in the works.

But yes, still writing, just, um, not posting.

Oops.

I'm back from Mediawest and five days worth of no computer, no Internet, no WiFi, no email, etc, etc. I survived. (I think). I was not super anxious to get to a keyboard. Then again, days of just chatting, visiting, zine hunting, squeeing and the occasional, inconvenient hassle of calorie consumption might have had their part in that. Yes sir, I enjoyed MWC, reunited with friends and enjoyed being unplugged.

Then I got home and found my DSL was still down.

Good grief...now what? In preparation for Mediawest, I--like any Lansing nomad would do--looked up the weather.

So, getting all the tribs packed, labeled and in happy stacks of pilfered Priority mailers all over the floor like tiny cardboard pillars. Tempted to have a Calvin & Hobbes moment and go "stomp, stomp, stomp" and make like Godzilla/Mothra/gray naked stinky monster Abbadon from Torchwood all over except duh, both legs aren't working yet. Oh well, cardboard's been spared.

Anyway, doing happy count of happy stacks, 16 lovely packages of zine bliss waiting for my postal man who is currently indulging in his love of postal uniform shorts today which is really wrong because the temperature just dropped from 90F to 54F so poor shivering, hairy knees knocking mailman--

Hang on.

-counts stacks-

17 stories...16 packages.

So channeling Numb3rs' Charlie Eppes and trying to figure out where/who/how one got left out from the happiness, wonderfulness (obviously, I was watching my I-Spy Dvds again) of tribs when it hit me...

I forgot to include my trib copy.

Doh.

Brain f_rt over, folks. Nothing to see here. LOL
