FIC REC: Torchwood (seriously a must read)

Okay, never done this before but this fic is just so...I highly recommend it. I had a lousy day yesterday and reading this really fixed that. I'd discovered this in a recs list and while I didn't agree with all their recs (some just not to my taste) this one was a great gem.
I never really knew what was crack fic. Seriously, I never really knew before. But after reading this again and again, I understand the term!
This is gen, as gen Jack Harkness would allow and HE'S A BEAR.
....
No, you read right. A BEAR. OMG, I never ever thought I would read something like this. It's that running gag frm the old D&D cartoon spell 'Flesh to Plush'. And it's written WELL. I haven't stop reading it yet, but I'm bursting out laughing and it's plot was done seriously with an absolute maniacal twist that's so bloody brilliant and not with haphazard writing of an addict that just wanted it done! It was thought out, well ploted and the characterizations hit a bullseye every time! The imagery of Torchwood very seriously interacting with a teddy bear yet feeling silly doing so gets stuck on your brain. And Jack, despite being a bear, is still in character. My mind reels on how she managed that
It was one of those where you run (figuratively) screaming to call someone, anyone about it! I would be green with envy on her wordplay if I wasn't so busy laughing! It's getting bookmarked, printed, bound, whatever!
Not to be read at work, but definitely a must read.
Warning: b/c the author doesn't deny Jack and Ianto in this series as dating, there are some flirting and innuendo in the third to last paragraph, but nothing slashy and definitely post-watershed.
And literally? I want Torchwood bears now. LOL. Not really, I might run them over with my wheelchair, but reading this? You'll want one!

Rating(s): PG
Warning(s): Fluff. Literally.
Word Count: 6148
Summary: Jack has been turned into a teddy bear. The team despairs.
EXCERPT (highlight below if you want a peek):
Owen narrowed his eyes at it. “Take it through to the autopsy room.”
Ianto hugged the bear to his chest to try and pin its wildly flailing arms. “You’re going to cut it up?” He sounded scandalised.
---------------------
The bear gripped Ianto’s hand with its other paw and swung, kicking Owen in the face with both feet. Owen stepped back, raising his hands, while the bear swung again on Ianto’s hand and jumped onto Owen, grabbing his hair and pressing itself against his face.
Owen staggered forward, bouncing off Ianto and hitting the door frame.
“Get it off me, get it off me!” he howled, clawing at it.
If you guys find this useful, I'll try to rec more once I'm more organized. It helps me keep track and prods me to send feedback at the same time to the author because feedback feeds the muse!
I would recommend this story to anyone who has seen the show. Don't forget to drop the writer a note too! I rec it, but she did all the real work!
And look, I got to assign a function to <1>one of my icons. -lol-
