It's April.

No, no, I'm fairly certain that my calendar is correct. I checked: my watch, my mobile, my Tivo (because naturally Tivo is a crucial temporal check for any fan girl. LOL.). No mistake...

It's April. Forty four days til Lansing, Zines, and Open-Faced Pot Roast.

Yes, it's nearly May, time for Mediawest and while I think the numbers have diminished, there is still that panic-then-turned-euphoria about reuniting in a wee town in Michigan to talk about fic, tv, and just all the wonderful things that makes fandom FANDOM.

Oh, did I not mention the fanzines, music vids and the panels? :D

Of course this means Brotherhood needs to be ready.

NOW.

-starts to sweat-

N-no problemo. Sure. We're done. Honest. I just have to check on the fontsmarginstrackingleadingwritetheeditorlettersdoublechecktheindentsconsultwiththeprintersandupdatethewebsiteredothehypenbreakscorrectthesmarttagsprintproofsuntilhalfaforestisgone.

Did I mention it was already April?

Here, look at this instead: Our cover for Brotherhood 7, going on sale this weekend.

OoooOOOOh! Pretty! :)

I can't wait!

We don't do open faced sandwiches...our big food pilgrimage is to BDs Mongolian BBQ. Mmmmm. My mouth is already watering!

(We need to have one on the east coast.)

Things We Need In The East Coast:
1. Supernatural: NY (hey, they film CSI, why not SPN?)
2. Bob Evans
3. Crack Barrel--er, I mean Cracker Barrel
4. Sonic Drive In (it annoys me they show the ad, but there's no Sonic here)
5. Richard Hammond (because...well...he's the Hamster LOL)
6. The Stig (LOL)
7. A Super Fast Train that goes to Lansing
8. Supernatural: NY (oh, already said it? Well worth repeating, LOL)

7. Definitely! And with no stops.
8. How about Supernatural: Boston here instead?

And I'd add...
9. Supernatural conventions. Just because it seems like they're everywhere but here!

3. Have 'em in Ky!
4. Have 'em in Ky! Methinks you should just come visit me :)
5-6. Meh
7. Super Fast Trains that take me anywhere I don't want to drive would be good (Louisville, I'm looking at you); Lansing would be good, too, 'cause then I'd be able to go to MW
8. Meh

For the first time ever, I'll have a fic in a zine, which should premiere at MW. Not to mention the fact that I've done nearly all the art...

Wish I could go! Alas, my new job starts on Tuesday after Memorial Day, so it might not be a good idea to wear myself out the weekend before...

Hey, cool! Congrats! Oh, I remember the thrill of getting my first fic on print.

Which zine is it? I'll keep an eye out!

Only one eye, because sadly the other one doesn't quite work. LOL

Not sure what it will be called specifically, but it's an all-kidfic zine from Bast. (Little Stargate, maybe?)

Hey, as long as you have at least one good eye, you can still read!
