Ah, the weekend. As I waited for my medical tests results to come in, I searched the 'Net for distractions as Monday won't come soon enough for me poor heart. I came across this NY Times meme on coffee, a story sketched out on coffee napkins and thought: "Why hasn't someone think of this before?"

Admit it, as you're reading this, isn't there a little bit of yourself in this? LOL.

"I like coffee so much that I have tea for breakfast: The first cup of the day in particular is so good that I’m afraid I won’t be able to properly appreciate it when I am half-asleep. Therefore, I celebrate it two hours later when I am fully conscious."

Oddly enough, I can't stand coffee. Hate the taste, hate the smell.

I only started drinking coffee about six years ago; until then, I thought the taste of it was disgusting. Now, I can't go without a cup at least once a day.

That's a very good question. No mention but the blogger is known for his pen drawings so maybe, but that's veery good if that was done by hand.

Ha! Just a bit. I started drinking coffee when I got my first job after college (it was the meetings, they drove me to it). But I resisted getting a coffeemaker at home until just a couple of years ago. Flavored coffee is what finally sucked me in - my current brew is a mix of chocolate macadamia and coconut coffee I bought in Kailua-Kona Hawaii last year. (Souvenir coffee!)
