Non-Sequitur : A Laugh For Coffee Drinkers
Dec. 6th, 2008 03:09 pmAh, the weekend. As I waited for my medical tests results to come in, I searched the 'Net for distractions as Monday won't come soon enough for me poor heart. I came across this NY Times meme on coffee, a story sketched out on coffee napkins and thought: "Why hasn't someone think of this before?"
Admit it, as you're reading this, isn't there a little bit of yourself in this? LOL.
"I like coffee so much that I have tea for breakfast: The first cup of the day in particular is so good that I’m afraid I won’t be able to properly appreciate it when I am half-asleep. Therefore, I celebrate it two hours later when I am fully conscious."

Date: 2008-12-07 12:39 am (UTC)I only started drinking coffee about six years ago; until then, I thought the taste of it was disgusting. Now, I can't go without a cup at least once a day.
Good luck with the medical reports. I hope everything is still improving!
