While I agree the US elections is important, it irks me that the rest of our non-US LJ sibs were getting bombarded with LJ election posts as well. I have nothing as compelling or as civic-minded on this post. Just some fun to remind ourselves that the LJ is global.

Date: 2008-11-04 04:52 pm (UTC)I guess this is an unspoken for us net babies who are well beyond this sort of bias because we are already on the plane that it is ideas and being able to exchange them freely that make us who we truly are. Look at what we read and what we talk about. We on LJ are clearly ahead of our time.

Date: 2008-11-04 05:02 pm (UTC)LOL, nothing wrong with that. It just felt like a lot of the comms I was on, all there were was election posts. I felt kinda bad because it almost left people who can't vote out. But the enthuiasm around is certainly big. I had a thrill myself when I mailed my ballot!
