Spoilery, proverbial kneejerk reaction and -points icon-

Rule #14: the gurlfriend is not the psycho serial killer. Evah.

Really, show, really?

-facepalm<-

You were doing so well, show, then you drank your own Kool-Aid. Sigh.

Okay, to be fair, it's episode 6, the notorious 'blah' mid-season episode happens to everyone. I just wished the weaker episode wasn't at Ducky's expense.

Tony, well...Tony was a wee bit more Tony again, but thankfully, still competent (whew!). And Jimmy. Yay, Jimmy! And Tony and Tim could have their own 30 minute sitcom. Maybe NBC would pick it up and replace that god-awful Whitney.(It's Must NOT Watch TV. folks).

The episode has its moments and I wasn't cringing. (most of the time) The crime was interesting. The team was still team and gossipy!team had their cute moments.

But Mary?

It's the Joe Cartwright Tim McGee curse. True love apparently doesn't exist.

Only suspects.

Sigh.

It really was a "when in doubt, invoke the psycho girlfriend trope" episode, wasn't it? Sad.

It was such a shame because I liked what they did with previous Ducky centered episodes and yet it felt, to me, like this one was the weakest of the season. And with such a great opportunity with Cheryl Ladd too!

I keep wondering if they're going somewhere with Tony. In the beginning episode, he was knocked out and had issues with his memory. Over the other episodes, he's forgetting things or not seeing things. I'm wondering if there's going to be an issue with his health or his mental condition later on in the season.

But psycho girlfriend he met online? ::headdesk::

VERY typical.

Hm, he could be suffering from writeritis. Sigh.

The psycho girlfriend was too over the top. Plus, it was ridiculous that Ducky, who they've shown as a pretty astute judge of character, had no idea that she had serious issues.

Anything would be better than Whitney. I've only watched the commercials, and I find it completely obnoxious!

Ill timed canned laughter, jokes about Mars vs Venus and of course Venus is always right because she's quirky, beautiful and perfect.

I'm just not in the mood for a Mary Sue sitcom. -gagging-
