Houston: We No Longer Have A Problem
Jul. 21st, 2011 12:09 pmDo you remember a time when the Internet never existed? Me neither! LOL
Yeesh, internet & phone were down since last Thursday night/Friday. The comedy of errors with Verizon, a roof, a basement and clueless snip-happy contractors that followed may be funny ten years from now.
Nevertheless, just wanted to apologize to the various PMs, comments and emails I'd been receiving. I haven't a chance to read them all yet, but will do so soon. 1210 emails in my AOL box. How many do you bet are spam? LOL.
In addition, an extra hug to
brate7 who is my Big Bang beta for two fandoms and ran proxy for me for those and the
ncis_newsletter. Thank you! My disconnect with the online world was not as utterly devastating with you reaching out to them with "A funny thing happened to mrwubbles today..."
So, I have a third of a Big Bang to go, a Sherlock prompt to fill and email to answer.
Still hobbling away in my Bioness L300 Electro-thingy and had a lovely time last week with family trying to figure out how to pay for it since my insurance decided "It was not medically necessary". When I permanently get out of this chair, I'm hobbling over there to plant my 'medically unnecessary device' up the insurance's arse. I'm thankful my insurance back then deemed my brain surgery as 'necessary' otherwise, forget LJ, you'll need a Ouija board instead.
Anyway, just wanted to thank all for the best wishes and boy I sure miss the Internet! :)
