DELICIOUS NEWS (Pun Sooooo Not Intended)

So, by now, some of you may have heard the rumor that due to budget cuts, Yahell is considering shutting down the 2003 bookmarking service Delicious.
Now, this may be just a bunch of Chicken Little, Yahoo might balk after the uproar, but yikes, no matter what! It peeves me considering I spent most of this week fine tuning my tags and of course, I have many "unreads" linked, too.
Wah.
I did find backup instructions users can use (whether it's true or not, backing up should be gospel) from Switched.com that may save us from too much grief and avoid the running-in-circles panic of Geocities 09.
From Switched.com:
"...Fortunately, you can save all of your bookmarks. At Delicious, click settings, and scroll down to 'Export/Backup Bookmarks.' On the next screen, make sure you set your tags and notes as included, click export (this may take a few minutes depending on how many bookmarks you have), and the site will save everything to a standard HTML file."

Show of hands, who's very annoyed? LOL.
