The Day The Icons Took Over

Too many icons. Too many random bits of pretty that don't really say what the post stands for. Should I redo some icons for particular types of posts? Or continue to save every single flipping pretty out there.

I long ago stopped trying to theme my icons to my posts. Go with the pretty. :)

I know! And to think when I first got LJ, I thought "Gee, 30 icons? Why that's plenty!"

You only have to truly worry when you spend more time chosing the icon then you do writing the post. =)

I am so late! But I have a suggestion, since I too love a lot of icons. I save them to My Pictures file (don't forget to note who made them!) in an Icon folder. Then I can KEEP them all. Depending on the holiday, my mood, or what I had for breakfast, I can then change them in and out of my user pics.

As for posting, I have a few that I use for various types of posts, but usually I go with whatever is my default that week. I've had my current one for a while now, since I really like it.
