You subtly cued us into Kate without even saying her name. Awesome. Sets us up perfectly for the balance of the story.
Tony's internal voice--or, rather, Tony plus drugs and emotional/physical aftermath--was just as I would imagine it (had I sufficient imagination to do so!). Just the right mix of goofiness and discernment...both of which served to communicate much more than the words alone.
As did your whole work: what was left unsaid was as rich as what was conveyed directly. Wow.
I'm relatively new to the fandom...and am eager to read the rest of your work. I'm so glad to have found this rec today!
