TV Reaction: Game of Thrones (no spoilers)
Finally downloaded episode 2, though a tiny part of me is tempted to get HBO now. Oh noz...
I have to admit, I always have my doubts because any show/movie from a book has a 50/50 chance to get the casting wrong. While I squee-ed at the thought of Sean Bean as Ned, I was wary how Maise Williams will pull off tomboy Arya and Kit Harington the brooding Jon Snow. We all have certain preconceptions of how we see our characters, right?
....
Well, someone's been reading Martin's books and reading my mind! There's an intensity in the episodes so far that has me breathless and have me (points icon) wondering when I can BT the next episode.
So much for trying to go angst-less this week. Headspace dark and twisty, must see and read happy, must--
Ah, screw it.
When's episode 3?
LOL.
For those wondering, I personally don't think you need to read the book for it (been a few years for me), but if you watch, don't blink. You'll miss something.
Seriously.
