It's done. Days of checking and rechecking and "well, maybe one more review", I'd finally sent the files off to the printers with all the reluctance of a mama bird and her hatchlings perched on the nest. Ye gads, we're actually gone to print now. No turning back. The files been sent. Covers been uploaded. Deposit been made. Nails been bitten.
Brotherhood has gone to print.

1. how to write Gage out of the proverbial corner I'd written him in
2. how to write Dean out of the proverbial rock and a hard place I'd written him in
3. how to stop binging on golden Oreos because they're just so wrong, so very very wrong
4. how to stop typing up lists of things I need to pack
5. why the heck I have 3 PCI-express 34R chips when obviously for a dual core, you really only need one!

Transcendental door opens between two universes, Gage is able to paramedically help Dean with whatever the nasty problem is he has (little known fact: a fire extinguisher cures many monster issues) and then the restored Dean rescues Gage and returns him to Roy. But now Dean is stuck in 1972. He can't get home so he has to just live through time until he makes friends with his now contemporarily aged Dad. Becomes favorite "Uncle" Dean that Dean is named after. Uncle Dean says something to young Dean that will prevent him from getting into your particular whole to begin with, and then the time loop is closed. The end.
Answer to #3; stop buying golden oreos.
