I can't believe either that you are a 'Top Gear' fan!

Oh, I've glanced at it once in a while but only recently come to adore 'Hamster' after the North African episode with him and Oliver.

It was purely research when I'd really started to pay closer attention to Top Gear as I wanted syntax for Torchwood (despite the fact it's Welsh I should be concerned with. I firmly believe Clarkson is channeling Owen Harper. LOL). But then came the Botswana special...

-hooked-

Seeing you mention John Simm have you seen the English 'Life on Mars'? It was awesome, a fantastic show. I've a feeling you'd like it, if you've not already seen it.

Oh, I watched Mars after the Utopia arc and adored it far more than our American version. I'm not too crazy about its sequel "Ashes to Ashes" and the girl.

I am, however, pining for more "Wire in the Blood" with Robson Green because I had loved the novels when they came out!

Finally, I wouldn't be too worried about writing like a Brit with your stories -

I know, I know, we vulgar Americans give others grief about Stargate and other shows. LOL. One particular PM, pointed out 'arse' and 'ass' and was very upset I used 'ass' and 'center' instead of 'centre'. Honestly, I know of some, but I worry it would have been a heck of a lot more confusing if I didn't stay consistent with one spelling.

'Course, researching and writing Torchwood has destroyed my own vocabulary. One day, when my sister came by to pick me up, I asked her if she could put my walking cane in the bonnet and she went "The What?"

LOL
