Master?

Noooo, not that kind of post. -smirks- I'd noticed a lot of LJ  sites have a master fic list. I'm new to LJ and their lovely extras, so I'm asking? Is a master list crucial? I only have a half dozen fics. And traditionally, are master lists just for LJ or am I suppose to list everything on FF.net and SGF.com? And do drabbles count?

I've seen so many, I'm worried I broke some unspoken courtesy not doing it here.

There are master fic lists? Clearly I've had my head in the sand for far too long.

Well, I had my head in the PC. -lol- I didn't realize it might be expected until I started looking for them on people's LJs! I'd been spoiled. :)

Uhm... Wow, I've never thought about this. I've seen master lists, too, but I've never done one. I just put links over to the side that connect to the places where my fic is posted. As long as it's kind of obvious where to find the fic, that's the important thing for me ;-)

That's the thing: those lists are like long. Maybe when I have enough fic, maybe?

Well, if you're talking quality over quantity, your list is long enough ;-)

-stares at microscopic list-

Ookay, if you say so. LOL.

Hmm, well I did a master 'fic list pointing to the stories at my personal site, but I'm now in the process of creating a 'fic journal (with all the stories in it back-dated to their original publication dates), which will have a master list for all the stories there. (At which point, I will delete my list on my "main" journal.)

Not sure if that helps any, but there's my two cents.

Ookay, Carter. That doesn't sound complicated at all!

-lol-

LOL! I'm techno-babbling again, aren't I?

Cleo make table of contents on journal, with links to stories on Cleo's site.

Cleo also make journal just for stories. Cleo make table of contents for journal for stories.

...And now I'm just being a smartass ;)
